St. Claire’s province organized poster making competition on topic ‘Mercy’ Manya  of VIII-A stood first.

From 13^th Sep. to 15^th Sep’ 19. North zone swimming championship was organized. Aaliya won bronze medal in 800 m free style.

More Laurels added to josephite cap

School secured first position in inter school G.K. competition which was organised at Shri Guru Hari Krishan School. The team of Himanshu Thakur and Asutosh Goswami of class X stood first.

Boxing association of Punjab under boxing federation of India conducted Punjab junior and sub junior boxing competition at Talwandi Sabo Punjab. More than 300 competitors participated in this competition where Yashashvi Pathania of class 9^th of our School clinched gold medal in below 80 Kgs weight category. She has been selected for national coaching camp after that she will represent Punjab state in the national competition. Moreover,  she also participated in wrestling competition organized by wrestling federation of Punjab at Bathinda where more than  400 competitors participated where Yashashvi  Pathania of our school clinched silver medal and brought laurel not only to St. Joseph’s Convent School but also to district Pathankot. We wish her big success in future. 

Manya Mahajan, Class VII-A secured first position in painting competition conducted on August in Jalandhar by Mahajan Sabha Jalandhar. The competition was held on 5th August. Manya was awarded with momento and a cash prize of Rs 2000/-. She also secured 2nd position in all India Essay competition. She was awarded with a momento and a cash prize of Rs 1500/-.

Alia John, Class VIII-B won 2 silver medals in 1500m and 800m swimming. She was honoured by Mrs. Aruna Choudhary (Transportation Minister of Punjab). She scored 20th rank all over India and was awarded with a certificate.

Mahira  Abbi who won an award of “The Best Dancer from Punjab” by lopa mundra and monika Bedi at an award function on 03/08/2018. She has also got some opportunities to perform with a Punjabi singer-Shanka Sahney.

Guided by our pragmatic Principal Rev. Sr. Selvam students have exemplified that the school does not encourage only bookish learning. The encouragement and hard work of the teachers bore fruit as the number of distinction holders and gold medalists have swelled.

Students performed very well and with a great enthusiasm in Sports Meet held at St. Joseph's Convent Sec. School, Pathankot. All the performers get awards but Archit and Snehi won best athlete award in Junior category and Abhishek and Shina won best athlete award in senior category.
