I warmly welcome you to our website at St. Joseph’s Convent Sec. School, Pathankot
“ For I know the plans I have for you,” declare the Lord, “A plan to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
Everything seems different,
Everything seems changed.
Let’s take these unexpected turns,
And learn to reflect,
rethink and proudly win.
For change is the Law of Life
That propels us forward
in a strangely new but progressive way.
With Covid affecting every part of our lives, we have all deviated from our familiar path and found ourselves in new territory, a
territory we are making the best use of School life continues with the aid of online classes. There are syllabuses to complete,
new concepts to learn and online activities to be held.
To excel in school activities like Academics, Arts and Sports is something that is encouraged and supported. Winning certificates
and trophies is applauded and appreciated. Every parent and child looks forward to acknowledgement and admiration, and so a keen
effort is always made to gain recognition. One wants to be better than the others to prove one self. Our competitor is always
the other. However, we will rise to further heights if we begin to compete with ourselves.
Let us now set out on a new journey which will be a lifelong process and truely worthwhile. Looking within, we will discover, notice
and realize all weaknesses and strengths. Self awareness will help us to consciously improve ourselves and set us on the path of
what the world needs most good human being.Competing with ourselves will help raise our own personal bar of perfection thereby
instilling within us an unshakeable confidence that will make us winners in every way.
Our journey in life is not just about achievements but also how we treat others. Compassion and kindness must be shown towards
all for it is rightly said that in helping others we shall help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle
and comes back to us.
So dear students, let us strive not only towards academic excellence but also towards being the kind of person who will be the
embodiment of kindness, trustworthiness, responsibility, optimism and self control.
God be with us.
