Examination Promotion

  • The School year has one unit test, two term exams for Primary and Secondary classes. There will be an examination at the end of each term and a Progress Report issued. The marks. received of these tests will be considered for the promotion to the next class.
  • Promotion of your ward to the next class depends on his/her performance during the entire session and equal weightage is given to each test and overall performance. It is noticed that some children make marked improvement in the last examination hoping to be promoted.There will be four weekly and one unit test for all subjects during the academic session. For the formative assessment the marks/grade of these class test will be added to the Final Examination Result.
  • For promotion a child should obtain pass grade in each subject in each test & term The pass gradescheme is as given below
    LKG to V C1 6.0 Point Grade
    VI-VIII C2 5.0 Point Grade
    IX-X D 4.0 Point Grade
  • 90% attendance is compulsory for promotion.
  • For the students appearing in the Class X Examination, there will be a compulsory Model Examination in the month of February.
  • The new admissions who have not passed their examination in the third language, Punjabi must ensure that they do so before appearing for the Board Examination .
